Acts 2:46–47 (NKJV)

46 So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, 47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.

 

Vision Statement

A church family of unity and love impacting the community around us with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and love of God by winning men and women to Christ and equipping them for Godly service. We at Ferndale Assembly of God will be a praying people fulfilling the Word of God through the Holy Spirit that dwells within us.

 

Mission Statement

Ferndale Assembly of God will Train, Equip, Activate and Minister (TEAM) to people to fulfill their calling and destiny in Jesus Christ. Enabling every believer to walk in the full stature of Jesus Christ and becoming sons and daughters of God. (Ephesians 4:11-16)

Ø  Train believers through studying the Word of God and learning the moving of the Holy Spirit by attending bible classes, seminars, workshops and conferences.

Ø  Equip believers with present day truth to successful warfare in the spirit realm and advance the Kingdom of God through books, videos, conferences and prayer.

Ø  Activate believers through impartation of laying on of hands, prayer and actual uses of their gifting.

Ø  Minister to people through preaching and teaching the Word of God and offering prayer healing, deliverance, miracles and breakthroughs.

 

Ministry Philosophy

1)     Oneness: In our relationship with God, Family and Ministry.

2)    Word: Teaching word making disciples and Preaching to convict, exhort and encourage.

3)    Prayer: Corporate prayer and private prayer for God’s presences, power and guidance.

4)    Fellowship: Building natural and spiritual relationship to have all things in common.

5)    Discipleship: Father and son relationship reproducing spiritual gifts and revelation knowledge in next generation.

6)    Worship: Psalm, Hymns, and Spiritual Songs that bring in God’s presence.

7)    Evangelism: Outreaches to reach people (sheep) that are not in the church (fold).
